Acquire NET certification for Plasma Recyclable Technology

Plasmapp announced on the 5th that it has obtained NET certification from the Ministry of Health and Welfare through surface rehabability technology of bio-materials for implantation using vacuum plasma.

Plasmapp was selected as a task of the Ministry of SMEs and Startups in 2020 and succeeded in developing a regenerative solution that improves the surface energy of medical implants, expanding its scope to medical use, and this time, health care

It explained that it has even obtained NET certification by the Ministry of Health and Welfare.

The technology feature of the Plasmapp, which has obtained NET certification, is that it can form the cleanest surface by removing impurities such as hydrocarbons attached to the surface of bio-insertion bio-materials, and improves initial bone adhesion performance after bio-insertion.

Plasmapp successfully targeted the dental equipment market last year by applying the technology and achieved related sales of about 6.9 billion won over the past year from its launch to the first half of this year.

In addition, it secured a European Medical Device Certification (CE-MDR) for global commercialization of the technology and recently received a certification from the German Clean Implant Foundation for reliability of surface treatment.

A company official added, "We will make efforts to ensure that our plasma surface treatment equipment can be used in more places based on the high technology proven through the acquisition of this new health technology (NET) certification."

Plasmapp will enter the KOSDAQ market through technology special cases, and Mirae Asset Securities is the main company to be listed.
