Plasmapp Discusses Cooperation with German Implant Quality Assessment Bodies 

Expected entry into the KOSDAQ in the second half of the year
Plasmapp announced on the 26th that the Clean Implant Foundation, a German implant quality evaluation agency, visited the company. Representatives from both organizations discussed quality control of implants.

Clean Implant is a non-profit foundation. It is explained that the quality of implants is regularly evaluated, such as controlling impurities on the implant surface. Certification is granted to a small number of implants that have passed the assessment. It was established with the aim of providing quality evaluation information so that patients can undergo safer surgery.

Plasmapp developed a solution that effectively removes impurities from the surface of implants using vacuum plasma. It is said that it is the only European Medical Device Permit (CE MDR) in the world. This technology passed the evaluation of clean implants and obtained the first surface treatment technology certification. It is expanding its application to orthopedic implants and human biological tissues as well as dental implants.

Plasmapp will participate in 'SIDEX 2022' held at COEX in Seoul from the 27th to the 29th of this month. SIDEX is a dental exhibition. Dirk U. Duddeck, CEO of Clean Implant, will explain the importance of quality management on the surface of implants under the theme of implant failure at SIDEX.

A company official said, "We are pleased with the interest shown by European implant evaluation agencies in plasma technology," and added, "We plan to discuss more specific cooperation during this SIDEX period, and we hope to ultimately contribute to safer and more effective surgery."
